Small introduction of Infosys:
Infosys is the 2nd top IT Company in India. Well
it is a multinational company started by Mr. Narayan Murthy with the help of
other four people. The annual revenue of the company is $ 7 billion.
Infosys campus visit:
Infosys is the first company that visits to any campus.
First slot of candidates is the requirement of Infosys (I am not
talking about colleges like IITs, NITs). TCS and Infosys both companies don’t
visit the same campus. Either TCS visits the campus or the Infosys visits. The
only requirement of Infosys placement team is to clear the written test. If the
students clear the written test then Interview is just a formality. The written
test consists of two sections
Aptitude (30 questions 40 minutes)
English (40 questions 30 minutes)
There is a sectional cutoff in Infosys written test. The cutoff in
both the sections is around 60 % (the cutoff may be higher than this depending
upon the number of vacancies). The aptitude section is very logical and if you
have practiced for 15 to 20 days, you can easily clear this section. The main
problem is English section. If you are not good in Grammar then you have to
practice English. It
is generally seen many intelligent students can not clear the
Infosys written test due to English section. The book that I will recommend to
you is R.S Aggarwal Objective English book. The complete English section will
come from this book. If you practice from R.S Aggarwal you can easily clear the
written test. For the aptitude also I will recommend R.S Aggarwal books and for
solving puzzles practice from Shakuntala Devi. Don’t waste your summer vacation
after 6th semester. Practice from these books and get ready for
Infosys.
If you clear the written test of Infosys, then there is a small
interview of duration 10 to 15 minutes. Interview is just a formality to check
your confidence level and communication skills. It is not required to have
excellent communication skills. The main thing is that if you are confident and
can talk in English then you can easily clear the interview round. Prepare for
the interview in your summer vacation. There are common questions that are
asked in Infosys interview.
Some of these questions are:
Tell me about yourself, your family background. (This question is
always asked)
Tell me about your projects (always asked)
Your goals, accomplishments, where you see yourself in upcoming
years
Your hobbies, extracurricular activities, your interests or
whatever you mentioned in your CV.

My only tip to clear the Infosys interview is whatever you speak to them, speak
with the confidence, don’t lie to them and don’t mention something fake in the
