Staff Selection Commission invites the application for the lower
division clerks and upper division clerks (data entry operator).

Fee for the examination: 100 Indian rupees
(for general and obc category male candidates only)
Date of Examination: 10-09-2013 and 17-09-2013.
Pay Scale for the job the current pay scale
is 5200- 20200. For the Lower division clerk the grade pay is 1900 and for the
upper division clerk/ data entry operator it is 2400 rupees.
Mode of selection: written test plus two
typing test.
Cutoff of written test: the written test
constitutes 200 marks and cutoff is about 84 to 86 marks for general category
and 78 to 82 for other category.
Typing speed required to crack the exam: in
first test it is 25 wpm and in second test it is 35 words per minute. It is
mandatory to clear both the typing tests in order to get the job.
Syllabus of written test: there are four
sections in the written test: English, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning
and general awareness. There are 50 questions in each section.
